Creating a Mosaic of Military Families

Maverick Mosaics Art School & Studio recognizes the service and sacrifice of our military troops and their families. We offer you an opportunity to help bring our local troops, their spouses and children to our studio for some quality time to learn and create beautiful mosaic artwork.

Maverick Mosaics, its teachers, and students donate their time and treasures as prizes for our Maverick Mosaic Military Raffles and 50% of all Maverick Mosaics Gallery sales go to the program as well. All money raised underwrites the costs of studio time and materials for military families to participate in Maverick Mosaics programs at no charge.

We have hosted 2 children for 2011 Children’s Art Camp. Given away several “You CAN Make It” mosaic kits and a Navy Dad and his children attended our “Monstrous Mosaics” workshops.

Before this year is out, through the CMMF program, Maverick Studio will host 8 adults, 8 teens and 8 children at upcoming workshops, at no cost to these participants.

If you know of individuals who are spouses or children of deployed military personnel in the Washington DC metropolitan area who wish to be considered as program participants, please contact us. The immediate family of any active duty military member is eligible.
