Precision Cutting and Lay Patterns: Understanding Andamento

Workshop Description

No more awkward crude cuts!  Learn to manipulate your materials with expert cuts and beautiful andamento (the visual flow of your tessare).  You will learn professional cutting and laying techniques using a combination of stained glass and vitreous tile. Students will have the choice of creating a 6x6 inch colorful home decor work in either an abstract or floral design.  Patterns provided by the instructor with the materials and time frame in mind.
